Japan World’s Tourism Film Festival Announces 2026 Finalists
The Japan World’s Tourism Film Festival (JWTFF) 🎎has announced the official finalists for its 2026 edition, marking the first results of the CIFFT Circuit 2026, the global competition for tourism videos.
This year, JWTFF received 1,334 submissions from around the world ✈️🌏, highlighting its growing influence in the tourism and audiovisual industries.
Koka, Japan, February 13, 2026 – The Japan World’s Tourism Film Festival (JWTFF) announced the official Finalists for its 2026 edition, marking the first results of the CIFFT Circuit 2026, the global competition for tourism videos.


This year, the festival received a total of 1,334 submissions from around the world, confirming its continued growth and global relevance within the tourism and audiovisual industries. JWTFF extends its sincere thanks to all filmmakers, tourism boards, agencies, brands, production companies, and students for their participation and continued support.
Following a rigorous evaluation process conducted by an international jury panel, the Finalists have been selected in the International Competition, Asian Competition, and International “Student” Competition categories. Finalists are films that received exceptionally high scores from the jury and represent the highest-ranked works within each competition category.

Among this year’s Finalists are leading tourism organizations and institutions such as ProColombia (Colombia), Switzerland Tourism (Switzerland), Visit Sweden (Sweden), Agencia Catalana de Turisme (Spain), Turismo de Conil (Spain), Turismo do Centro de Portugal (Portugal), Depot History Center (Poland), Hilton Tokyo (Japan), Turismo Rías Baixas – Deputación de Pontevedra (Spain), Visit Santorini (Greece), Visit Porto and North of Portugal (Portugal), Bensaude Hotels (Portugal), Viana do Castelo (Portugal), the Slovenian Tourism Board (Slovenia), and the Malaysia Tourism Board (Malaysia), among others.

The 2026 edition of JWTFF will take place in Koka City, Shiga Prefecture, from March 18 to 20, welcoming international guests to a destination where cultural heritage, tradition, and contemporary creativity converge in a distinctive Japanese setting.
Koka is historically recognized as one of Japan’s ninja regions and preserves the legacy of the Koka ninja tradition through authentic residences, museums, and heritage sites. The city is also known for its connection to traditional Japanese craftsmanship, particularly Shigaraki ware pottery, one of Japan’s most respected ceramic traditions.
