In the next 27 months, six important services including birth and death registration, marriage, divorce, passport, nationality identification and driving license will be brought to the digital platform.

This will digitalize the country’s and state’s government services, increase data exchange capacity and ensure fast, easy and transparent services for citizens.The inaugural ceremony was held on March 20, 2026, and was led by Md. Shamim Hossain, Director and CEO of OrangeBD. He presented the project implementation plan and benefits, and international partners presented the roadmap and framework. The event, held at the Government Administration Building, was led by the Prime Minister of Sint Maarten, Dr. Luke F. E. Marcelina, and was attended by members of the Cabinet, senior officials of the Dutch government, and stakeholders from various organizations. He highlighted the importance of building an inclusive and accessible digital government and thanked OrangeBD in particular.

Regarding being part of the digitalization of the IT sector in various countries around the world, OrangeBD Managing Director Al-Ashraful Kabir (Jewel) believes that their achievement is a recognition of the continuity of their work, which will play a major role in foreign income for the domestic economy.
