For the first time, Porto Business School’s (PBS) Online MBA has been included in the Financial Times ranking, achieving an impressive eighth place globally and fourth in Europe.

For the first time, Porto Business School (PBS) has secured a spot in the prestigious Financial Times Online MBA Ranking, entering directly at eighth place globally and fourth in Europe.

The 17-month programme is a pioneer in integrating AI into the curriculum, while also being the first 100% online MBA course offered by a Portuguese business school. “This recognition validates our commitment to innovation and the integration of artificial intelligence in this MBA, where Porto Business School has been a pioneer, preparing leaders to transform the business world with a digital and future-oriented vision,” said Jose Esteves, the school’s Dean.

The ranking evaluates various indicators. In the Online Interaction Rank indicator, for example, Porto Business School‘s course was considered the best in the world, standing out for its excellence in online delivery. In terms of its diversity, the programme ranked 2nd worldwide for the presence of women among the teaching staff (47%).

In terms of overall student satisfaction, the course ranked among the world’s top 4, with a score of 9.44 out of 10, reflecting the excellence of the academic experience offered by Porto Business School.

This achievement marks PBS as the only Portuguese business school to feature in the ranking, solidifying its position as a global leader .

He currently serves as the President of the International Ecotourism Society Philippines Inc. for Portugal and Head of Europe, former Co-Chairman of the Standing Committee on Civil Aviation and Tourism of the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI), and former Director of the Tourism Developers Association of Bangladesh (TDAB).

As the founder and CEO of multiple ventures, including Traveller Key, Europe Key, Traveller Times, Welcome Bangladesh, and World Vacation Club, Zahir operates across various countries.

He is an active member of several international organizations, including SKAL International Madrid. Tourism Developers Association of Bangladesh, Tour Operator Association of Bangladesh, World Travellers Club Ltd., European American Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Pacific Asia Travel Association (New York Chapter), and Tourism Alliance Society, Photographic Society of America, Bangladesh photographic association.

He also serves as an advisor to the Portugal-Bangladesh Friendship Association. Dalton Zahir’s contribution to education, cultural exchange, and tourism development has had a positive impact on Bangladesh and worldwide.
