The Secretary General of UN Tourism, Shaikha Al Nowais, received today at the headquarters of the Organization the visit of the Minister of Production, Foreign Trade, Investment and Fisheries of Ecuador, Luis Alberto Jaramillo, to advance in strategic priorities of the sector.
At the meeting, measures to strengthen domestic tourism, attract new investments, improve connectivity, boost health tourism and position Ecuador as the venue of large international events were analyzed.
This institutional dialogue reinforces the commitment of both sides to cooperation geared towards sustainable development, job generation and economic growth through tourism.
