Europe–China tourism dialogue in action

What a week in Beijing! The European Travel Commission took part in high-level institutional meetings to strengthen cooperation and support the recovery of travel between China and Europe.

Our CEO Eduardo Santander, Chapter Chair Franka Gulin, and market expert Ludivine Destrée met with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the World Tourism Alliance (WTA) to exchange views on shared priorities and the future outlook for Europe–China travel.

🤝 As Chinese outbound travel continues to evolve, institutional cooperation is key to building confidence, better connectivity, and more sustainable, higher-quality tourism.
