The 47th International Tourism Fair in Belgrade has come to an end
M.Z.I. Dalton Zahir |From TravellerTimes Desk : National Tourism Organisation of Serbia : The 47th International Tourism Fair in Belgrade has come to an end – it has been four days of intensive meetings, partnerships and strong promotion of Serbia as a destination of the future.

The Tourist Organization of Serbia performed in Hall 4 with a rich and interactive program, and the central theme was the promotion of EXPO 2027 Belgrade – a specialized international exhibition that will be held in Belgrade in a little over a year.
Through virtual presentations, interactive content, AI photobooth and educational quiz “Get to know the cities of Serbia”, visitors had the opportunity to discover the tourist offer of our country in a modern and dynamic way. Special attention was also drawn to the meetings with the mascots of the EXPO – Rastko and Milica.

The TOS stand was visited by numerous officials, including Prime Minister Đuro Macut, Minister of Tourism and Youth Husein Memić, Minister of Culture Nikola Selaković, as well as Minister of Tourism of Cyprus Kostas Koumis, which further confirmed the importance of the upcoming EXPO for tourism, economy and international positioning of Serbia.
The TOS delegation, led by the Director of the Marija Labovic, hosted a high-level delegation of Cyprus, headed by the Minister of Tourism Kostas Kumis and Ambassador Andreas Fotiou. The talks were focused on improving cooperation and joint promotional activities in anticipation of 2027.
During the fair, new publications “Cities of Serbia” and “A Village Where Peace and Tradition Have an Address” were presented, editions that present urban centers, cultural and historical heritage and rural landscapes in a modern and inspiring way, with the aim of bringing the diversity of Serbia’s tourist offer closer to the domestic and foreign audience.
One of the key moments of the fair was the signing of the cooperation agreement between the Tourist Organization of Serbia and the Post of Serbia, signed by Marija Labović and Zoran Andjelković. In anticipation of EXPO 2027, 20 series of tourist postcards (with a circulation of 15,000 copies) with motifs of the most important destinations and cultural monuments of Serbia will be made. The postcards will be available nationwide and used in promotional campaigns, combining traditional communication with modern promotions.
This project further connects tourism and national infrastructure, and the postcard – as a souvenir and personal message – gets a new role as Serbia’s ambassador to the world.
The fair once again confirmed that Serbia is building a strong, modern and authentic tourism story ahead of EXPO 2027 – through partnerships, innovations and a clearly defined vision of international promotion.
See you next year – even more ready for 2027. 🇷🇸
