Dr. M. Haider Uzzaman, President of the global business platform Business Summit, has been appointed Special Advisor (Investment) to the Government of Plateau State, Nigeria, marking a significant step toward strengthening international investment partnerships for the state and as a result the country.
The appointment reflects the Plateau State Government’s commitment to attracting global capital, expanding economic opportunities & ventures, and positioning the state as a strategic investment destination in Africa.
Dr. Uzzaman is widely recognized as a business innovator and the founder of Business Summit, a global platform with decades of experience to connect entrepreneurs, investors, and business leaders across borders. Under his leadership, the initiative has been designed to facilitate project funding, market expansion, and cross-continental collaboration.
In his new role as the advisor to his excellency Hon. Caleb Mutfwang, Dr. Uzzaman will support the Plateau State Government in developing strategic investment partnerships for existing projects, identifying sectors that the state can progress at a rapid pace in, and promoting the state to foreign business communities. His global network of investors and entrepreneurs is expected to play a key role in accelerating capital inflows into priority sectors such as infrastructure, agriculture, mineral harvesting and service sectors.
Speaking about the appointment, Dr. Uzzaman expressed his appreciation to the Government of Plateau State and reaffirmed his commitment to supporting the state’s ambitions.
