UN Tourism (United Nations Tourism)
UN Tourism is the United Nations agency responsible for promoting responsible, sustainable, and universally accessible tourism worldwide.
Skål International has been an Affiliate Member of UN Tourism (formerly UNWTO) since 1984, reflecting decades of shared commitment to global tourism development.
On 29 September 2015, Skål International formally signed and adopted the UN Tourism Global Code of Ethics in Tourism, a comprehensive framework designed to guide key stakeholders toward ethical, inclusive, and sustainable tourism practices.





Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA)
Founded in 1951, the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) is a not-for-profit membership organization dedicated to the responsible development of travel and tourism to, from, and within the Asia-Pacific region.
Skål International works alongside PATA to support sustainable growth, capacity building, and regional collaboration in tourism.
International Institute for Peace through Tourism (IIPT)
The International Institute for Peace through Tourism (IIPT) is a not-for-profit organization committed to using tourism as a catalyst for international understanding, cultural exchange, environmental stewardship, and global peace.
Skål International has cooperated with IIPT since 1994 and remains a strong supporter of its mission and guiding principle of “peaceful travel.”
ECPAT International
ECPAT International is a global network dedicated to ending the sexual exploitation of children in travel and tourism. The organization works with governments, law enforcement agencies, civil society, and the private sector to protect children and support survivors.
Skål International has supported ECPAT International since 2005, reinforcing its commitment to safeguarding vulnerable communities within the tourism ecosystem.
World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC)
