The close and well-established 𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗚𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 is also reflected in our 𝘁𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗺 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.
Today I had the pleasure of meeting with Patrizia Soell and Frédéric Meyer from our long-standing partner Atout France – The France Tourism Development Agency to formalise our cooperation agreement for 2026. 🤝
The close and well-established 𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗚𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 is also reflected in our 𝘁𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗺 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. For many years, our organisations have 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗿𝘀 on both sides of the border— while also exchanging insights on trends, challenges and best practices in destination marketing.
💫 A hashtag#highlight of our cooperation in 2026: a 𝗷𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗹𝘂𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗴𝗻 by the hashtag#GermanNationalTouristBoard and hashtag#AtoutFrance, designed to engage a younger audience and spark curiosity to explore the neighbouring country. 🤳🌍
France and Germany are 𝗸𝗲𝘆 𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿. In 2025 alone, 𝟯.𝟳 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗯𝘆 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗵 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 were recorded in Germany. 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗹, 𝗯𝘂𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 invite travellers to cross the border to discover the neighbouring country — whether for city breaks, gastronomy and wine experiences, or cultural events and festivals.

At the same time, many overseas visitors combine France and Germany as part of their European journeys, experiencing the rich cultural diversity and unique character of both destinations in a single trip.
Here’s to continuing our successful collaboration and inspiring travellers to explore both sides of the Rhine.
