U.S. Embassy Dhaka Welcomes Ambassador Brent Christensen

The U.S. Embassy in Dhaka has officially welcomed Brent Christensen as the newly sworn-in Ambassador of the United States to Bangladesh. Ambassador Christensen brings with him extensive diplomatic experience and a deep familiarity with Bangladesh, having previously worked in the country earlier in his career.

Expressing his enthusiasm upon assuming the role, Ambassador Christensen stated:

“I am thrilled to return to Bangladesh, a country I know so well. I am excited to lead a great team at Embassy Dhaka, Americans and locally employed staff alike, to enhance U.S.-Bangladesh relations, advance President Trump’s agenda, and work hard every day to make America safer, stronger, and more prosperous.”
