Dinara Zhagabayeva : On the weekend I visited the Sharjah Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival was a powerful reminder that entrepreneurship is not only about business – it’s about energy, vision, and collective belief in growth.
Organized by Sharjah Entrepreneurship Center (Sheraa), this festival brings together founders, investors, creatives, and change-makers under one roof with a shared intention: to build, to support, and to scale ideas that matter.
What stood out to me the most was the spirit in the air:
• meaningful conversations between startups and investors
• honest stories from speakers who are shaping industries
• bold ideas turning into collaborations in real time
• a genuine ecosystem of support for innovation in the region
You could feel that this is more than an event. It’s a living platform where ideas find direction, people find partners, and startups find belief.
As someone who has spent 15+ years building bridges across tourism, MICE, real estate, and business communities in the UAE, I deeply appreciate initiatives like this. They don’t just inspire – they activate.
Grateful to have been part of this space and to witness how Sharjah continues to invest in people, ideas, and the future of entrepreneurship.
