Travellerkey Appointed Official Consultancy Agency of Porto Business School

Porto Business School (PBS), one of Europe’s leading institutions for executive education and research, has officially appointed Travellerkey as its Authorized Partner and Official Consultancy Agency for international student recruitment.

Under the partnership, Travellerkey will represent Porto Business School across South Asia, including Bangladesh, India, Nepal, and Sri Lanka, with a mandate that also extends to wider international markets. The collaboration aims to guide and support prospective students interested in PBS’s academic programmes, while strengthening the school’s global outreach.

Through this agreement, Travellerkey will support Porto Business School in the following areas:

Marketing and Promotion: Conducting legally compliant publicity, communications, and outreach activities.

Student Admissions Consultancy: Providing structured guidance and recruitment initiatives to ensure prospective students are well informed about PBS opportunities.

Promotional Activities: Supporting awareness-raising initiatives aligned with PBS communication policies, including the development of promotional materials, leaflets, and introductory resources to enhance student engagement and agency collaboration.

José Esteves, Dean and President of the Executive Board of Porto Business School, welcomed the partnership, expressing confidence in Travellerkey’s experience and leadership. “We are confident this collaboration will play a significant role in expanding Porto Business School’s international student community,” he said.

Professor Esteves brings more than 30 years of experience in teaching, consulting, and coaching, specializing in information systems, digital strategy, and innovation. He is also a Professor of Information Systems and Innovation at IE Business School, one of the world’s top-ranked business schools.

Expressing his enthusiasm, Professor Esteves added, “We warmly welcome Dalton Zahir and Travellerkey as our South Asia agent, based in Bangladesh and Portugal. It is also an honour to congratulate him on his recent appointment as President of the International Ecotourism Society Philippines Inc. for Europe and Head of Portugal. His 24 years of experience in tourism and hospitality will be invaluable.”

João Coelho de Magalhães, International Business Development Director at PBS, said the school believes leadership is a journey of exploration and growth. “At Porto Business School, we challenge boundaries, embrace diverse perspectives, and equip future leaders with the tools to shape the world,” he said.

Angelique Garcia, Head of Admissions, also welcomed the collaboration, stating that PBS looks forward to working closely with Travellerkey to establish strong outreach and recruitment initiatives for upcoming academic intakes.

Porto Business School continues to strengthen its global standing, with notable rankings including 8th in the Financial Times Online MBA Ranking, 25th in the European Business School Ranking (Open), 31st (Custom), 38th in the FT European Business Schools Ranking, 52nd for MBA programmes, and 95th in the FT Executive MBA Ranking.

The institution holds three prestigious international accreditations—AMBA, AACSB, and EFMD—placing it among Europe’s elite business schools. In 2023, PBS renewed its AMBA accreditation for another five years and became the first Portuguese business school to receive accreditation from the Business Graduates Association (BGA).

This partnership marks another proud milestone for Bangladesh, Travellerkey, and its Founder and CEO Dalton Zahir, who will lead the representation of Porto Business School. With over 24 years of experience spanning hospitality, tourism, public relations, media, and international business development, Zahir is widely recognized for his expertise in communications, branding, marketing, operations, and global market development.

Zahir currently serves as President of the International Ecotourism Society Philippines Inc. for Portugal and Head of Europe, and previously held leadership roles including Co-Chairman of the Standing Committee on Civil Aviation and Tourism of the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) and Director of the Tourism Developers Association of Bangladesh (TDAB).

As the founder of several ventures—including Travellerkey, Europe Key, Traveller Times, Welcome Bangladesh, and World Vacation Club—Zahir has worked across multiple countries. His career also includes senior roles at BRAC Services Ltd. (BSL) and leading hospitality brands, as well as collaborations with global technology companies such as Motorola, Apple, Philips, and Fujifilm.

A strong advocate for Bangladesh’s tourism potential, Zahir has played a pivotal role in promoting sustainable, experience-driven tourism and cultural exchange worldwide. His appointment and this new partnership are seen as a significant step forward for Bangladesh’s presence in international education, tourism, and global leadership.
