Held on 10 April, the journey began from Sadarghat Terminal, with members and guests joining on a limited-seat basis following a ‘first come, first served’ system. Participants enjoyed scenic river views, a comfortable onboard environment, cultural and musical performances, raffle draws, and warm hospitality throughout the day.

The traditional steamer, originally built in 1928, added a nostalgic charm, making the event a unique blend of tradition and modern entertainment. The event was supported by several organizations, including US-Bangla Airlines, Air Astra, Novoair, Neshorgo Hotel and Resort, and Istanbul Hotel.

A representative of the club said the initiative provided members with a unique and memorable experience, adding that similar events will continue in the future. World Travellers Club Limited aims to further enrich Bangladesh’s tourism sector and social engagement by organizing such traditional and creative trips in the future.
