About WOTELS

WOTELS is a Portuguese chain of hostels, hotels, and rural hotels, with 16 properties currently operating across Portugal. The group is focused on delivering distinctive, accessible accommodation experiences tailored to a wide range of traveler profiles.

Portuguese tourism continues to strengthen its international presence through projects that value authenticity, heritage, and a strong connection to the land. This year, two emblematic destinations — Horta da Moura and Aldeia da Pedralva — will be represented at two of the most important tourism fairs in the world: the Bolsa de Turismo de Lisboa and ITB Berlin. Their presence at these strategic events reinforces the commitment to promoting internationally experiences rooted in sustainable tourism, slow living, and authentic hospitality — values increasingly sought after by contemporary travellers.

Two destinations, two unique experiences in Portugal
Located in the serene landscapes of the Alentejo, near Monsaraz, Horta da Moura embodies the spirit of Portuguese rural tourism. Surrounded by vineyards, cork oak landscapes and overlooking the Alqueva lake, the property offers an experience defined by tranquillity, regional gastronomy, and direct contact with nature.
At the southwestern edge of the country, in the municipality of Vila do Bispo, Aldeia da Pedralva stands as an inspiring example of heritage restoration. This traditional Algarve village has been carefully revitalised, transforming former houses into accommodation units that preserve the local architecture and identity. Today, Pedralva is a recognised destination for those seeking authenticity, nature, and proximity to the wild beaches of the Costa Vicentina.
Portugal highlighted at major tourism fairs

The presence of these two projects at the Bolsa de Turismo de Lisboa (BTL) and ITB Berlin represents a strategic opportunity to promote Portugal to international tour operators, travel agents, and media.

The BTL, held in Lisbon, is the country’s main tourism fair and a meeting point for both industry professionals and the general public. Meanwhile, ITB Berlin, widely regarded as the world’s largest tourism trade fair, gathers thousands of global industry professionals and serves as a key platform for establishing international partnerships and presenting new destinations.
By participating in these events, Horta da Moura and Aldeia da Pedralva help strengthen Portugal’s visibility as a destination for authentic, sustainable experiences deeply connected to the territory. and you can leave Alexandra Henriques and Angelica Carneiro.
